How do I set up my profile?
When you first open KoiShape, you will be guided through a setup screen where you enter your height, weight, age, and fitness goal. You can update this information at any time in Settings → My Profile.
How is BMI calculated?
KoiShape uses the standard WHO formula: BMI = weight (kg) ÷ height (m)². The result is categorized as Underweight (<18.5), Normal (18.5–24.9), Overweight (25–29.9), or Obese (≥30). Results are for reference only and not a medical diagnosis.
My BMI reading differs from other apps — why?
BMI results can differ slightly if apps use different rounding or unit conversions. Ensure your height and weight are entered accurately in KoiShape (Settings → My Profile). If values look correct and the discrepancy is large, please contact us.
How do I set a weight goal?
Go to Settings → My Goal and enter your target weight and a target date. KoiShape will calculate a recommended weekly pace and update your training plan suggestions accordingly.
Can I add custom workouts?
Yes. In the Workout tab, tap the + button to add a custom exercise. Enter the exercise name, duration, and intensity. Custom workouts are saved locally and count toward your daily activity log.
How do I view my progress over time?
Tap the Progress tab to see charts for your weight history, BMI trend, and workout frequency. You can filter by week, month, or a custom date range.
Is my health data shared with anyone?
No. All your health data (weight, BMI, workout logs) is stored locally on your device. We do not sell or share your personal health information. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Can I export my data?
You can export your progress data as a CSV file. Go to Settings → Data → Export. The file will be saved to your Files app and can be shared via email or other apps.
The app is crashing or not responding — what should I do?
Please try: (1) Force-close the app and reopen it. (2) Restart your device. (3) Update to the latest version via the App Store. If the problem persists, email contact@gzlightek.com with your device model and iOS version.
How do I cancel a subscription or request a refund?
Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID. Go to the App Store → your profile photo → Subscriptions to cancel. Refunds must be requested through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
