This Privacy Policy describes how GZLighTek ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information in connection with your use of Mây (メイ, the "App"), an AI-powered Vietnamese conversation coaching app. By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
1. Information We Collect
- Account information: when you sign in with Sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your email address (or an anonymous relay address if you choose to hide your email with Apple) and an identifier from that provider.
- Learning profile: your display name, learning goal, current Vietnamese level, the city or region of Vietnam you live in, your preferred accent (Northern or Southern Vietnamese), and the language corrections are explained in — all chosen by you.
- Voice audio: during a practice conversation, your microphone audio is streamed directly to a third-party AI service (OpenAI) for real-time processing and response. We do not store audio files on our servers.
- Pronunciation check recordings: when you record yourself reading a phrase for pronunciation feedback, that recording is sent to OpenAI's API for analysis. We do not store these recordings on our servers.
- Conversation transcripts: the Vietnamese text transcribed from your spoken practice and the AI's responses, along with corrections identified by the AI (original text, corrected text, natural phrasing, explanation) — these are stored to power progress tracking and personalized review.
- Sentences you look up: when you tap a sentence to see its meaning, that sentence is sent to OpenAI to produce a Japanese translation. Katakana readings are generated on our own servers and are not sent to any third party.
- Progress and usage data: speaking minutes, conversations completed, pronunciation scores, daily practice streak, app version and basic device information (such as iOS version), used to show your progress and to fix problems.
- Subscription information: if you purchase a subscription, Apple processes all payment details. We only receive subscription status and a transaction identifier — we never see your card details.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Power the AI conversation, correction and pronunciation features
- Teach the accent you chose and personalize lessons and review to your weak points
- Show your learning progress over time
- Authenticate your account and manage subscriptions
- Diagnose and fix technical issues
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.
3. Third-Party Services
- OpenAI: processes your voice audio in real time (speech-to-text and conversational response generation), grades and corrects your sentences, analyzes pronunciation-practice recordings, and translates sentences you look up. The App asks for your consent before any of this data is sent. Data sent to OpenAI is subject to OpenAI's own privacy policy.
- Apple (Sign in with Apple, In-App Purchase): handles sign-in and subscription payment processing.
- Google Sign-In: handles sign-in if you choose to sign in with a Google account.
4. Data Retention and Deletion
Voice audio is sent for processing and is never retained as an audio file. Transcripts, corrections and progress data are retained for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings → Delete account in the App, or by contacting us (see Section 8).
5. Data Security
All data transmitted between the App and our servers is encrypted using industry-standard TLS. Authentication tokens are stored in the device's secure storage.
6. Children's Privacy
Mây is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or 16 in applicable jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us and we will delete it.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Significant changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

本プライバシーポリシーは、GZLighTek（以下「当社」）が、AIによるベトナム語会話練習アプリ「メイ（Mây）」（以下「本アプリ」）の利用に関して、どのような情報を収集・利用・共有するかを説明するものです。本アプリを利用することで、本ポリシーに従った情報の収集と利用に同意したものとみなされます。
1. 収集する情報
- アカウント情報：Appleでサインイン、またはGoogleでサインインを利用した場合、メールアドレス（Appleの「メールを非公開」を選んだ場合は匿名の中継アドレス）と、各サービスの識別子を受け取ります。
- 学習プロフィール：表示名、学習目的、ベトナム語のレベル、お住まいの地域、練習する発音（北部・南部）、解説の言語など、ご自身で選択した情報。
- 音声：会話練習中のマイク音声は、リアルタイム処理のため第三者のAIサービス（OpenAI）に直接送信されます。当社のサーバーに音声ファイルは保存しません。
- 発音チェックの録音：発音チェックのために録音した音声は、分析のためOpenAIに送信されます。当社のサーバーには保存しません。
- 会話の文字起こし：練習中の発話を文字にしたベトナム語のテキスト、AIの返答、AIによる添削内容（元の文・修正文・自然な言い方・解説）は、進捗の記録と復習のために保存されます。
- 意味を調べた文：文をタップして意味を表示すると、日本語訳を作成するためにその文がOpenAIに送信されます。カタカナの読み方は当社のサーバー内で作成され、第三者には送信されません。
- 進捗・利用データ：練習時間、会話の回数、発音スコア、連続練習日数、アプリのバージョンと基本的な端末情報（iOSのバージョンなど）。進捗の表示と不具合の修正に利用します。
- サブスクリプション情報：決済はすべてAppleが処理します。当社が受け取るのは購読状態と取引IDのみで、カード情報を見ることはありません。
2. 情報の利用目的
- AIとの会話、添削、発音チェック機能の提供
- 選択した発音での指導、苦手な点に合わせたレッスンと復習
- 学習の進捗の表示
- アカウントの認証とサブスクリプションの管理
- 技術的な問題の調査と修正
当社は、個人情報を第三者のマーケティング目的で販売・貸与・共有することはありません。
3. 第三者サービス
- OpenAI：音声のリアルタイム処理（音声認識と返答の生成）、文の添削、発音チェック、調べた文の翻訳を行います。これらのデータを送信する前に、本アプリ内で同意をお願いしています。OpenAIに送信されたデータはOpenAIのプライバシーポリシーに従って扱われます。
- Apple（Appleでサインイン、App内課金）：サインインとサブスクリプションの決済を処理します。
- Googleでサインイン：Googleアカウントでサインインする場合の認証を処理します。
4. 保存期間と削除
音声は処理のために送信されるだけで、音声ファイルとして保存されることはありません。文字起こし、添削、進捗データはアカウントが有効な間保存されます。アカウントとすべての関連データは、本アプリの設定 → アカウントを削除からいつでも削除できます。当社へのご連絡（第8項）でも対応します。
5. セキュリティ
本アプリと当社サーバー間の通信は、業界標準のTLSで暗号化されています。認証情報は端末の安全な保存領域に保存されます。
6. 児童のプライバシー
本アプリは13歳未満（地域によっては16歳未満）の児童を対象としていません。児童の情報を誤って収集したと思われる場合はご連絡ください。速やかに削除します。
7. 本ポリシーの変更
本ポリシーは随時更新されることがあります。重要な変更は上記の最終更新日に反映されます。変更後も本アプリを利用された場合、変更後のポリシーに同意したものとみなされます。
